Henry Monsky was elected sole chairman of the new interim Committee of the American Jewish Conference at the committee’s first meeting in New York, it was announced today. He previously served as one of the Conference’s three co-chairmen.
The new executive committee, which will serve until the fourth session, will be composed of all officers and nine additional members representing the different groups thin the organization. It will meet in New York on April 24 to elect a chairman.
