A $10,000,000 campaign in the interests of the Jewish People’s Library of Montreal will be held the week starting January the 26th. Founded in 1914, this library constitutes the only institution of its kind in this city. It contains more than 6,000 select volumes in Yiddish, English, Hebrew and other languages. The present quarters being insufficient to meet the needs of the Montreal community, $10,000 is sought to purchase a new home. Officers of the campaign include M. L. Brown, campaign director, J. Schaffran and N. Myerson, joint campaign chairmen.
