A monument to the 10,000 local Jews deported and slaughtered by the Nazis was unveiled in Brno, the capital of the province of Moravia, it was reported here today from Prague. A huge gathering of Brno citizens, as well as representatives of the authorities and of the Jewish community, attended the ceremony. The monument is a statue recalling the tragedy.
