A stone memorial monument was unveiled Friday on the Lebanese border at the site where eight school children and four adults were massacred in the ambush of a school bus by Arab terrorists 18 months ago. The dedication ceremonies were attended by Deputy Premier Yigal Allon who is also Minister of Education and Culture and Gen. Mordechai Gur, commander of the Northern Command. Most of the victims were from Avivim, a settlement near the border. Their names were inscribed on a plaque attached to the monument which was erected by the regional council and the Jewish Agency.
