A monument to the memory of Wilhelm Vaszonyi, who died a year ago, was unveiled over his grave in the Jewish cemetery in Kerepes. Deputy Karl Huszar, Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies, representatives of the Government and of the City of Budapest and a large number of Deputies attended the unveiling ceremonies. The Budapest Jewish Community was represented by its President, Dr. Alexander Lederer and its General Secretary, Dr. Julius Gabor.
A large number of wreaths sent by the Government and the various political parties were deposited on the grave.
