Five Jewish cemeteries were desecrated in Germany within recent weeks, according to a report of the “C. V. Zeitung”, the organ of the Central Verein Deutschen Buerger des Juedischen Glaubens.

Twenty-eight gravestones were overthrown and many damaged in Krofeld and Richerlsdorf near Kassel. Gravestones were overthrown and hedges burned in Kerpin and nearby towns. Hardly a week passes without desecrations of Jewish cemeteries, the paper complains.
