The Governor of the Argentine province of Corrientes, which has an area of 33,535 square miles, has written to the “Yiddishe Zeitung” of Buenos Aires, the headquarters here of the Jewish Colonisation Association (Ica) reports, that he has seen the Jewish colonisation work in the province of Entre Rios (29,241 square miles), where the Jewish colonies are situated, and they are beyond praise. I am sure that it will be a blessing for our province to obtain the co-operation of the brave and energetic Jewish agriculturists, he says, and I shall be very glad if you will raise this question in your paper.
I can give you my guarantee, the Governor declares, that my Government will do all that lies in its power to assist Jewish colonisation, because I am convinced that it will contribute to a great extent to the prosperity and progress of our province.
