More than 100 original letters by the late Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Albert Schweitzer, were donated to the Tel Aviv University here by Mrs., Clara Urquhart of London. Urquhart was a close friend of Schweitzer as well as his assistant. The letters, written in the last years of the prominent scholar’s life from 1950 to his death in 1965. deal with various issues, including his interest in Judaism and Israel and his opposition to nuclear weapons.
