More than 20 German skinhead soccer fans were among 50 arrested after battling with French police before a World Cup soccer game, according to a news report. The clash took place before a game between Germany and Yugoslavia. Meanwhile, approximately 25 German extremists were arrested after assaulting foreigners and singing banned neo-Nazi songs at a summer solstice gathering in the German town of Detmold.
