More than 200 Siberian Jews attended a dedication ceremony for a synagogue in the city of Krasnoyarsk, about 2,300 miles east of Moscow. The aluminum-domed synagogue opened its doors to serve a community numbering 6,000 Jews, many of whom are the descendants of czarist and Stalinist exiles to Siberia.
