More than 2,000 people filled a Paris theater to mark the launch of the French campaign for the “Geneva accord.” Grouping a number of Muslim and Jewish groups together with leading figures from across France’s political spectrum, Wednesday’s event also featured a surprise entrance by the unofficial peace proposal’s principal negotiators, Israeli Yossi Beilin and Palestinian Yasser Abed Rabbo.
