More than 400 people gathered at New York’s Park East Synagogue for a shloshim service marking the end of the 30-day mourning period for victims of the Sept. 11 terror attack on the World Trade Center. Among those participating in the memorial service were officials from seven national Jewish groups as well as several firefighters from a nearby fire station.
