More than 50 Holocaust scholars sent a letter to Venezuela’s president condemning his statements comparing Israel to the Nazis. The letter sent last Friday asked Hugo Chavez to retract his statements that the Israelis “are doing what Hitler did against the Jews” and that Israel is carrying out “a new Holocaust.”
