A total of 839 Jews migrated from France to Israel between January and October, 1951, it was learned here today. Of this total, 45 percent were refugees from other parts of Europe. Thirty-five percent of the immigrants had their fares paid by the International Refugee Organization, 18 percent travelled at their own expense and the Jewish Agency provided transportation for the remainder.
According to a report on the Israel radio heard here, the Jewish State is negotiating with the Hungarian Government for the migration to Israel of an additional 25,000 Hungarian Jews.
