Henry Morgenthau, Jr., chairman of the board of governors of the State of Israel Bond Drive in the United States, and Zalman Shneur, noted Jewish poet, were today awarded honorary degrees of Doctor of Hebrew Letters at the annual commencement exercises of the College of Jewish Studies of Chicago. The degrees were conferred by Dr. Samnel Blumenfield, president of the college.
