Morocco’s king agreed to visit Israel, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz. Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy made the announcement after meeting with King Mohammed in Rabat. Levy is the first Israeli official to visit Mohammed, enthroned last July after the death of his father, King Hassan, who often played a behind-the-scenes role in the peace process.
