A flat denial of the charge spread by anti-Semitic fascist groups to the effect that Jews were responsible for the recent air-raid shelter disaster, in which more than 170 people lost their lives, was made today in Commons by Home Secretary Herbert Morrison.
Morrison reported that an official investigation of the incident had been made and that the anti-Semitic rumors were completely without foundation. Many members of the House cheered when the Home Secretary made his report.
