The mortality rate among the Jewish population in Warsaw for the first nine months of 1928 was half the birthrate, according to statistics made public here.
While the number of births during the period was 60,518, the number of deaths during the same period was 30,360. The natural growth of the Jewish population in Poland’s capital is lowest of all the nationalities.
