A delegation of Soviet Jews, some of them writers, will be permitted to go abroad next month, to attend the worldwide commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto rebellion, scheduled to be held in Warsaw, according to a dispatch to the Sunday Observer here today.
The commemorative exercises, April 19 and 20, are to mark the 20th anniversary of the uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto. It was pointed out here today that this will be the first time that the authorities of the USSR will permit Russian Jews to join any international gathering abroad.
