Trud, the organ of the Soviet Union’s trade union movement, has opened a new campaign of vilification against Israel and Israeli diplomats in the USSR, it was reported here today from Moscow.
Soviet authorities, who control the country’s press, have used Trud frequently in propaganda against Israel and Zionism. In the latest attacks, Trud charged that Israeli diplomats are touring the USSR, “spreading poisonous Zionist propaganda wherever they went, leaving their dirt behind them.”
