Preparations for a tour of the Moscow Yiddish Chamber Theatre are being made by Mr. Gra-nowsky, director of the theatre, who is here now.
The players will make their appearance; at the beginning of the season in Berlin, playing here for several weeks. In the eight years of its existence, the theatre has developed a highly modernistic manner of production. Its repertory includes Sholem Aleichem’s comedy, “20,000” and Goldfaden’s “Family.” Its new repertory also includes works by Julius Romain and George Kaiser.
The troupe will also visit Leipsig, Breslau and Frankfort, from where it will proceed to Vienna, Prague, Budapest and Paris. In September 1928 the troupe plans to visit New York.
