Mose M. Feld, prominent philanthropist and Jewish communal leader, died here yesterday of a heart attack at the age of 61. Born in Galveston, Texas, Mr. Feld was known as “the one-time newsboy who became a millionaire industrialist.” He was a fellow of Brandeis University and a member of the board of the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He was a past president of the Houston Jewish Community Council and was formerly chairman of the board of the Houston United Jewish Campaign.
