Technical difficulties have forced the postponement for one week of Rossini’s operatic pageant “Moses,” scheduled for its initial New York performance at the New York Coliseum Saturday and Sunday. The presentation will be shown December 8 and 9.
Alfredo Salmaggi, director of the artistic management, asserted that the “massive character of the scenic designs, as well as adequate rehearsals of the musical score, makes necessary this postponement.” Tickets already purchased will be honored on the respective dates.
