Continuation of negotiations between the General Zionist and Herut Parties for a merger of the two would jeopardize the existence of the World Confederation of General Zionists, Moshe Kol, one of its leaders, told the central committee of the Progressive Party here. He said the majority of General Zionists throughout the world was opposed to a merger of the General Zionist Party and the Herut in Israel.
