A huge Moslem demonstration was said to have been in preparation in Jerusalem for Friday, October 5. A large number of the demonstrants is expected to proceed to the Wailing Wall to voice a protest against what is termed by the Moslem agitators as the “Jewish aspiration to seize the Wall, a part of the Mosque of Omar.
In telegrams despatched to the kings of Iraq, Persia, Afghanistan, Hejes, Yemen and Egypt and to Moslem bodies in Syria, India and other Moslem countries the cry is raised that the Moslem ownership of the Mosque of Omar is endangered and the Moslems are urged to help in its defense.
