Reports reaching here from various parts of Morocco indicate that anti-Jewish terror has become part and parcel of the Moslem nationalist campaign against the French administration.
A report from the town of Fedala says that the Moslem terrorists there sacked and destroyed Jewish-owned shops on several successive days. The nationalist-incited mobs have also attacked a number of Jews, considering them to be pro-French. Most of the Jewish shops which were destroyed sold tobacco–a state monopoly of France. (A report to the New York Herald Tribune said that the Moslem nationalists have set afire many huts of the 22,000 natives at Fedala and left 10,000 of them homeless.)
