Moslem pilgrims from the West Bank began their trek yesterday to Mecca. An estimated 1,600 from the Judaea-Samaria regions are expected to make the pilgrimage. They are expected to return by mid-Feb. The Saudi Arabian government, however, rejected an appeal from the Hebron mayor to permit Israeli Moslems to enter their country.
