The Moslem Supreme Council has succeeded in holding up an important land transfer to the Jews, according to the “Meraath El Shark,” a Christian-Orthodox semi-weekly paper published in Jerusalem. The paper reports that the Moslem Supreme Council objected to the sale near Tulkarem, claiming that the land was religious property.
