Moss Hart, playwright and producer who was born on the lower East Side of Manhattan, died today from a heart attack at his home here. He was 57.
A playwright since 1925, he was the author of scores of Broadway-hit plays and musicals. He won the Pulitzer prize for “You Can’t Take it With You.” He had been president of the Dramatists Guild.
