Mothers forced by the Nazis to work for Volkswagen plan to sue the carmaker this week for the deaths of their babies, a lawyer representing Holocaust victims said Tuesday. “These children were killed by design and neglect,” Michael Hausfeld, a Washington-based attorney told the Reuters news agency. Similar charges will be filed later against other German firms, including Krupp and Mercedes-Benz, Hausfeld said.
