Mount Vernon’s $50,000 campaign for the United Palestine Appeal was opened at the Hotel Astor Sunday evening. Dr. Stephen S. Wise was the guest of honor. Harry P. Fierst, chairman, presided. Judge Jacob A. Bernstein was chairman of the dinner committee.
The Mount Vernon quota of $50,000 represents half of the total sought for the Palestine fund in Westchester County.
