Mr. Felix M. Warburg, who has been Chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee since it was formed in November 1914, for the relief and rehabilitation of the war-stricken Jews of Eastern Europe, Palestine and elsewhere, has relinquished the position after holding it for over 17 years, and he has been succeeded as Chairman by Mr. Paul Baerwald, who has been Treasurer of the Joint Distribution Committee also since its formation in 1914.
Mr. Warburg continues to be actively associated with the Joint Distribution Committee and has been elected honorary Chairman at the last meeting of the Executive Committee.
The annual meeting of the National Council of the Joint Distribution Committee will be held in New York on March 26th., and 27th.
