Mr. Harry Sacher is lying seriously ill here. His condition is not dangerous, it is explained, but there is considerable anxiety. He is suffering from a combination of pleurisy and pneumonia. Mr. Israel Sief, Mr. Sacher’s brother-in-law, who has been paying a visit to Palestine with Mrs. Sief and was to have left with her on their return to London this week, has decided to put off his departure and they will stay here until Mr. Sacher’s condition has improved.
In order to afford Mr. Sacher complete quiet, traffic has been diverted from the street in which he lives.
