Mrs. Gladys H. Cahn, former president of the International and National Council of Jewish Women, died here suddenly at the age of 63.
Mrs. Cahan initiated the NCJW volunteer-training program to encourage greater participation in community affairs and increased the ICJW affiliates from five to 15. She was also a former member of the board of directors of the American Friends of the Hebrew University, and was active in the civil rights field.
