Mrs. Charles Cohn, prominent in Jewish and non-Jewish activities, died at her home in Neshville, Tenn.
Mrs. Cohn was honorary president of the Vine Street Temple Sisterhood, president of the Kentneky-Tennessee Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, and third vice president of the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods. She served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Vine Street Temple, the first woman to hold that office, and was a member of the Nashville Board of Education, Rabbi Julius Mark, of the Vine Street Temple, assisted by Rabbi Joseph Rauch of Louisville and Rabbi Moses Jacobson of Asheville, officiated at the funeral on Sunday, attended by communal and civic leaders.
