Mrs. David M. Levy, national conference chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, left for Europe on Friday to visit Jews in various countries there and in Palestine and to assure them of continued financial assistance during 1947.
Mrs. Levy, whose itinerary will include France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Poland and Italy, will also study the conditions of Jews there. Her tour is expected to last ten weeks.
