Mrs. Henry Harris of this city today was re-elected president of the Pacific Coast region of Hadassah at the second regional conference which was attended by delegates from practically all of the western states. The convention is expected by Hadassah leaders to have a powerful effect in stimulating Hadassah activities in the West.
Other officers elected were: first vice-president, Mrs. Henry Sieroty, San Francisco; second vice-president, Mrs. Joseph J. Schwartz, Los Angeles; treasurer, Mrs. Israel Hervin, Portland; recording secretary, Mrs. Joseph Rosner, San Francisco.
State representatives were chosen as follows: from Southern California, Mrs. Adolph Sieroty; northern California, Mrs. Henry Sieroty; Washington, Mrs. Max Silver; Oregon, Mrs. Jacob Lauterstein; representing Junior Hadassah, Miss Miriam Caro, San Francisco.
Los Angeles was selected for the next meeting to be held in August, 1932.
Junior Hadassah, holding its regional convention at the same time, elected the following officers: president, Miss Miriam Caro, San Francisco; vice-president, Miss Regina Benno, Los Angeles; secretary, Miss Pearl Berman, San Francisco; and treasurer, Miss Betty Nusbaum, San Francisco.
