Mrs. Mortimer Jacobson, national president of Hadassah, left for Israel last night to survey the needs of the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. She was accompanied by Mrs. Siegfried Kramarsky, national chairman of the Hadassah Medical Organization Committee in the United States.
Hadassah Hospital has been serving as a medical base and casualty clearing station for Jerusalem area since the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East. In the last 12 days Hadassah in New York has airlifted more than $1,300,000 worth of medical and hospital supplies to Hadassah Hospital.
