President Carter announced yesterday the appointment of Mrs. Geri Joseph as U.S. Ambassador-designate to The Netherlanda. Mrs. Joseph, 55, is the wife of Burton Joseph, chairman of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation League. The Josephs are from Minneapolis, Minn.
Mrs. Joseph was graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA degree in 1945 and served as a staff writer on the Minneapolis Tribune from 1946-53. She has been a contributing editor of that paper since 1972. She is a member of the President’s Commission on Mental Health and of the Minnesota Supreme Court Commission on the Mentally III.
