Mrs. Mary Fels, philanthropist and widow of Joseph Fels, founder of the Fels and Company soap manufacturing corporation, died here yesterday at the age of 90. Since the end of World War I, Mrs. Fels had been actively interested in Palestine and Israel, visiting Palestine in 1921, and contributing generously to various Palestine causes and institutions. Among her contributions was a gift of $600,000 to the Palestine Foundation Fund.
