Premier Golda Meir told the eighth national convention of the Israel Medical Association here yesterday that Israel’s belief in the sanctity of human life was a source of its strength and faith in the eventuality of true peace. But, Mrs. Meir warned, “Israel confronts not only the enemy on the border but also has to contend with the strength of the second greatest world power which generously supplies the Arab leaders with instruments of death and destruction.” The convention, attended by 400 Israeli delegates and 600 Jewish doctors from 22 overseas countries, heard the Premier urge Jewish doctors from abroad to emigrate to Israel “because we need more Jews here.”
