Mrs. Rose I. Bender, a former national official of Hadassah who was active in a wide range of Zionist and Jewish causes, died yesterday. She was 69.
She had been president of the Hadassah Philadelphia chapter and national chairman of Hadassah for fund-raising. She was a delegate to World Zionist Congresses in 1939 and 1946, and also executive director of the Philadelphia Zionist Organization of the Philadelphia chapter of the American Technion Society.
