The Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies of New York City receives the sum of $50,000 in the will of the late Mrs. Adele G. Schiff, widow of Mortimer Schiff.
Mrs. Schiff who died on July 7th, leaves a total of $95,000 in charitable bequests.
The bequests are divided as follows: Henry Street Settlement, $10,000; Institute for the Crippled and Disabled, $10,000; Jewish Big Sisters, $5,000; Catholic Big Sisters, $2,500; Protestant Big Sisters, $2,500; New York Infirmary for Women and Children, $5,000; Babies’ Hospital, $2,500; Oyster Bay Visiting Nurse Association, $2,500; Girl Scout Federation, $5,000.
The remainder of the estate is divided among members of the family.
John M. Schiff, son of the deceased is named executor of the estate.
