Mrs. Rebecca Schweitzer, widow of the noted leader of American Zionism, is expected in Palestine shortly in connection with the projected hospital at Tiberias, which was planned during Mr. Schweitzer’s lifetime.
A total of about $50,000 was contributed for the building by the late Zionist and philanthropist, and it is understood to be Mrs. Schweitzer’s wish to proceed without delay with the erection of the hospital building at Tiberias, which is lacking in adequate hospital facilities.
The hospital will be conducted by the Hadassah Medical Organization in Palestine.
