Mrs. Alvin Thalheimer, active worker in Jewish organizations and a leader in educational circles in Maryland, died here yesterday at the age of 62. Mrs. Thalheimer, a sister of Jacob Blaustein, honorary president of the American Jewish Committee, served 13 years on the Maryland State Board of Education and was associated with the Jewish Educational Alliance and the Associated Jewish Charities, both of Baltimore, as well as with the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Peabody Institute of Music,
