Mt. Sinai Hospital was dedicated in Beverly Hills this week to serve the needs of an estimated 650,000 persons in the area.
The building is now an eight-story structure with 253 beds. It is planned to eventually have a 13-story building with facilities for 450 patients. Half of the beds are reserved for patients who cannot afford to pay. The hospital is operated on a non-sectarian, non-profit basis.
