At the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Mt. Sinai Hospital. held yesterday, Leo Arnstein, acting president of the hospital, announced that plans have been completed for a new building to accommodate men and women of moderate means. The foundation of the new building has already been laid on Fifth Avenue, between 100th and 101st Streets, and will adjoin the present hospital building.
A total of $250,667.89 was listed in the report as legacies and bequests for the year, part of which was received to endow beds and for other special purposes, and $100,000, from the estate of Sidney S. Prince, a former trustee and treasurer of the hospital, is to be used for medical research.
