A gathering of Moslems in Sarajevo, occupied Yugoslavia, last night, addressed by the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem, was told not to be discouraged by the Axis defeat in North Africa, a Nazi radio broadcast reported today.
The ex-Mufti, who is engaged in spreading pro-Axis propaganda, was tendered a dinner by local Moslems. He emphasized that "the fight against the British and the Jews must continue" and compared the situation of the Moslems under the Yugoslav regime with that of the Arabs in Palestine under the British administration.
Figures on the "Aryanization" of Jewish firms in the Nazi-puppet state of Slovakia published in the newspaper Gardista reaching here today from Bratislava reveal that 1,541 members of the anti-Semitic Hlinka Party have secured Jewish enterprises and that 1,117 major Jewish establishments in Slovakia have passed into German hands.
