A left-wing organization, Democratic Action Against Neo-Nazism and Fascism, which was set up in January with headquarters in Munich has been subjected since its inception to a torrent of letters and telephone calls, most of them anti-Semitic and many threatening violence, it was disclosed today. Frank Arnau, a writer, its chairman, received 51 calls and 54 letters in the four days after the organization held its first rally in January in Munich, he reported. Typical of the epithets have been “Jewish swine” and “Jewish dog” and “Go to Tel Aviv” and “Auschwitz is far but Dachau is near.” Arnau also is president of the German League of Rights.
