Municipality Helps Surviving Jews in Polish Town, of 12,000 Jews Only 300 Survive

The Lublin radio reported in a Yiddish broadcast that only 300 of 12,000 Jews in the township of Chorzow, Poland survive.

A local Jewish committee is functioning there and is receiving full cooperation from the mayor in its efforts to improve the the situation of the surviving Jews, the broadcast added.
